Texas – the abundant resource of wildflower honey

What I really loved about my days in Texas was, there were so many wildflowers blooming everywhere. Bees, butterflies and humming birds were enjoying the abundant resource of wildflower honey. Deers were seen in the middle of wildflower fields. #texaswildflowers #texas🇨🇱

I was lucky that I was able to visit a huge field of Texas bluebonnets in Hill Country, Texas, in 2014 and 2015. The flowers of Bluebonnets were densely blooming, covering a seemingly endless field in Spicewood, Texas.

This very unique dramatic gorgeous wildflower field only appeared after the level of water of the Colorado River receded due to the draught. This flower field was so large, it seemed almost endless.

The sky and the wildflower field were so blue — here is my favorite photo from my trip back in 2015.

I have a print of this image and whenever I hold it in front of my face I feel like I can smell the sweet fragrance of Texas bluebonnets.

I might even want to lightly spray the print with a Texas bluebonnet fragrance mist as long as it won’t damage the print 😀
