A Great egret in a swampy forest at Brazos Bend State Park in Texas in 2012. The park maintains and preserves beautiful wetlands which are home for many birds, alligators, and other wildlife. Wetlands are very important for wildlife to survive because they are the sources of nutritious diverse food.
